Installation

Contracting a Playground Equipment Contractor
At Soft Play we want to make sure that every aspect of your relationship with us is a positive one. A big part of this relationship is the installation of your playground. That's why it's important for you to understand what to look for and expect in a playground installation contractor.

The following guidelines will help you choose an installation contractor:

  • Check a potential contractor's credentials. Make sure the contractor has all the necessary state licensing requirements. Simply call your state's contractors and licensing board.

  • Make sure the contractor is National Playgrounds Safety Inspector (NPSI) certified, which is also a Soft Play endorsed and accredited standard.

  • Check to make sure the contractor has the necessary insurance. It's most important that the customer has all insurance information on hand. Playground contractors should possess line limits of no less than one million dollars, including operational liability aggregate, and completed products aggregate. They should also show proof of worker's compensation insurance.

Ask for and check their references.
