Playground Sends A Message

Upper Valley Community Church leaders in Piqua, Ohio wanted to send a message to its community: all children are precious and our church promises to nurture them. They delivered the message with the addition of a Soft Play playground.

“We chose a very deliberate symbol of our commitment – a large blue cross is the centerpiece of our stained glass windows; visible through the windows in our colorful playground,” says Associate Pastor Andy Monnin. “The playground is a tangible representation of our commitment to families. It has definitely provided the Wow Factor that gets people’s attention. I consider it to be a successful component in delivering our philosophy and increasing our membership.”

Church board members drove to see a variety of play parks before deciding on Soft Play. “In terms of price and service, it was clearly the better product. Plus, with Soft Play, we could customize the playground to our space and our families,” says Monnin.
