A new monster/woodland creature themed play area was revealed at Woodland Mall. The project replaces a play area known far and wide in the area featuring breakfast-themed play structures of fried eggs and waffles. The new area is larger than before and is geared toward a wider spectrum of children. It is located in the JC Penney wing in the Cafe in the Woods Food Court. The area has a climbing structure and other elements designed to be intriguing to both toddlers and early elementary age children. The play area also has rocks to climb, tunnels to crawl through and netting to climb on and around. The new play area also includes ADA-accessible “EZ access climbers” allowing children and their caregivers a way to interact and participate in the fun.
The Woodland Hills project recently launched with an interactive flair. The play area encompasses 2500 square feet of space and provides a nature-themed play space. The mall play area has a number of interactive play elements letting kids use their cognitive skills while exploring. They can also fine-tune their motor skills while investigating and sharing with other children. Parents will have peace of mind while their children discover new ways to safely play and enjoy the indoor playground elements. Floor elements light up when contacted and it has an interactive LED lighting system that changes colors and patterns upon touch. These exciting innovations are only some of the cool play elements kids can enjoy at the Woodland Hills Mall project.
